Letters Home are Fun!

7/29/2006

So I think it is fun when you get more than one letter from one on a different day. The mail goes out at different times.

It was funny- I forgot to wear my tag all day today- almost all day. It was like I was naked. It was a weird feeling.

It is so much fun to write home. I get excited to write you guys letters. It is fun to share what is going on with me and how the Lord is working on me. It is fun to share with you how awesome the Lord is and how the Gospel makes perfect sense. It is perfect everything about it is perfect! What an awesome plan He has!

I also want to share with you some of my temple experience. At first going into the temple was like going into the MTC because the MTC is set apart from the world anyway. But when I went to leave and I had to put my name tag back on it was really weird because I had forgotten I was a missionary. I had forgotten where I was and what I was doing. In the temple I was just another daughter of God. It was the coolest feeling at the same time. Really cool actually.

I learned sooo much! I had some questions answered. I loved it! I wanted to stay forever!

The Lord really answers your prayers right away while you are in the temple. He is close. He is right there! I felt the Spirit so strongly. I felt the burning in my chest like I have never felt it before my eyes burned too! It was cool. I didn't want it to go away. I wish I could go to the temple with you to be able to share all of this with you and learn from you. It was awesome to go as a family. I hope we can go more together when I get home now that Sacramento Temple will be so close.

I also learned tonight that people will understand by my personal worthiness. And I can't convert someone past my own conversion. I really need to work on myself to allow others a better chance and true conversion so they won't fall away. I need to make sure I am righteous so I can help them.

I know I need to pray more and get help more. I need to remember to kneel before the Lord.

It is really nice of Carolyn and Jason to keep up to date with me. I really like them. I hope they are doing great. That is cool about Paul had checked the blog too! They are some of my fav's even though we really never see them. They are awesome.
Temple was Great!
God Lives and is Real!
His plan is amazing!

I got called as co-ordinating sister today! It is the one who is over all the sisters in the zone. Out 4 neighbors are leaving next Monday. So now I do will do it over us 4. I am now the senior companion and feel like I need to step it up and be an example and be totally obedient.

Sister Vicki Matsumor the General 2nd counselor in the Primary Presidency spoke to us in RS today. I have to run to a meeting. I am meeting with all the wives of the MTC presidency to learn how to be the co-ordinating sister.

Gran probably hates me because everything I write her I tell her she needs to get baptized! :)
